Working conditions

As an employer, you are responsible for a socially safe and healthy working environment. Clear rules of conduct, regulations and complaint procedures are essential. Unfortunately, unsafe work situations cannot always be prevented. In those cases, proper strategy and due diligence is required. Together, we make sure of that.

Prevent misconduct

An employer must ensure a safe workplace for its employees. Not only does this concern taking safety measures and facilitating healthy working, preventing misconduct in the workplace is also an important responsibility. It is therefore very important that your organisation has the correct regulations, guidelines and procedures in place to prevent misconduct as much as possible. We advise you on what is needed and we work with you to find what works for your organisation.

A careful approach

But even with the correct guidelines and regulations, practice shows that misconduct in the workplace cannot always be prevented. Matters surrounding integrity and misconduct are often delicate and require a careful approach. That’s what we are experts in and are happy to assist you with.

What we do

We also have all the knowledge to assist you when it comes to safeguarding the privacy of your employees. For example, we know what is required of you according to the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG, Algemene verordening gegevensbescherming) and how to translate this into workable situations for your company. Whether it is guidelines or concrete privacy-sensitive situations, you we are here to help you.

  • We draw up rules of conduct, regulations and complaint procedures and check them for compliance with applicable legal regulations. Of course, tailored to your organisation and needs.

  • We advise on the Whistleblowers Protection Act [Wet bescherming klokkenluiders] and draw up whistleblowers' schemes and/or monitor an existing scheme in the light of legislation and regulations.

  • We can take on the role of (external) confidential advisor for your organisation.

  • We provide advice in the situation in which you are confronted with a report of misconduct. Together we determine the strategy and ensure careful handling of the report.

  • We advise and litigate on matters relating to working conditions. Not only in court, but also towards the supervisory body (the Netherlands Labor Authority (Nederlandse Arbeidsinspectie)).

  • We advise on all privacy aspects in the workplace (for example on the AVG).

  • We draw up privacy guidelines and privacy statements and provide support in the development of other AVG-related matters such as a Privacy Impact Assessment and a Processing Register.

  • We advise on specific privacy-sensitive questions, such as questions about employee monitoring.
