Legal Profession
Complaints & Disputes
The complaints officer for the legal profession within Kienhuis Legal is Lesley Broos.
An elaboration of the Complaints Procedure can be found in the Complaints Procedure Regulations.
If you do not believe that our consultation leads to a satisfactory result, you can opt to submit a complaint to the Disputes Committee for the Legal Profession (hereinafter referred to as the Disputes Committee) to which our organisation is affiliated up to 12 months after the date of the written response from our organisation.
Our organization undertakes in advance to cooperate with the procedure before the Disputes Committee and to accept the decision of the Disputes Committee as binding. The award will then also be binding on you, either in the form of an arbitral award (business clients) or in the form of a binding opinion (private clients). If you submit a complaint to the Disputes Committee, this means that you accept that our organization also has the right to submit a dispute about a disputed invoice to the Disputes Committee, which will then make a binding decision.
The Disputes Committee is also authorised to rule on claims for damages up to an amount of up to €10,000,-.
